I have a treasure trove of 'stuff' that I've been scanning and digitalizing over the past couple of months. From vacation pictures, to family videos, to school memorabilia (such as yearbooks); I have begun to build quite a treasure trove of personal media.
As I work on the numerous boxes of "stuff" I'll post it on the site. It's not a fast process; I am a one man operation. However, it will be done right the first time. I am trying to capture everything in the highest color resolution, trying to capture video and audio in the best format available with my equipment; high definition DVD is the best I can do.
But what goes on this site will be 'shrunken' to fit within the hosting requirements of my site.
I am done scanning everything from school, except the yearbooks. I am currently working on the middle school years, or as we referred to them back then junior high. Cutler Ridge Middle School will be followed by Miami Southridge Senior High's yearbooks from the late 1980's to the early 1990's.
As I find the time (doesn't happen often), I will work on more. However, it takes about 2 hours to scan and edit just 42 full color pages. Wish me luck and plenty of patience.
