Why Obama Does not Matter
This website will be a lot of things to different people. I created my web site, sEBASTIANfORMOSO.com,  because I am, in the traditional sense, nowhere near being creative.  I can't draw, I can't sing, creative writing is not my forte; so, this is my art.

I can, however, take some pretty darn good pictures. I also see life in totally different colors than you.

But mostly, this site will serve as a looking glass into the person I've become. Its ultimate purpose is to record my thoughts, feelings, experiences, dreams and aspirations. Yes, it's all about me.

Through this online medium, I hope to reach out to friends, family, and even people that may not have known me very well or at all before stumbling upon my website.

I hope that at the end of your visit to my website, you will leave with a greater appreciation for the differences and experiences that make us all who we are and a slight connection with a somewhat ordinary guy who loves to write about ordinary things and, hopefully, make them a little more extraordinary for you.

How would you stop a speeding train?  Would you waste your time screaming at it...trying to get it to listen to you; but no matter how much you scream or how loud you scream the train keeps on going.  Speeding towards self destruction and total annihilation of what lies at the end of the track.

Eventually you realize that no matter what you do, the only effective and most efficient way is to jump on board and stop the train at source.  That is, of course, to jump on board the locomotive and kill the engine that drives the speeding train, apply the breaks and hope that you have enough time to stop the train; avoiding a collision and still saving the precious train.

Now, with all hopes that you understand my analogy--I pose the following question:  How would you stop the war machine?  Answer:  You stop the financial engine that drives the war machine.

It is impossible to deny the fact at one point in our evolution, the land that was settled as the United States was gifted with the capacity to attract immigrants that brought insurmountable knowledge, enviable work ethic, and the spirit of ingenuity and discovery that has just recently begun to be matched by Europe and Asia.  The arch of knowledge did not just pass over the United States, it stayed here for a while!

But with those great gifts came even greater responsibilities.  When you are given so much, much is expected.

At some point in time, Americans took the wrong path.  Instead of taking care of the world, Americans became self serving leaches that poached resources and belittled cultures the world over.  That approach peaked with the Eisenhower Administration only to be outdone by the quasi Republican Administration of George W. Bush (a.k.a.: The Dark Ages of America).

The United States has done a great deal of harm all over the world.

The world has noticed; my generation has noticed...and at the same time, many realized that the war machine no longer listens no matter how loud they scream.  The war machine no longer cares no matter how much people suffer.

Some have realized that there is a better way to live because we are not all savages.  Wars and the militant atmosphere created by the Eisenhowers and the Bushes that bring on the darkness are for the savages that have not evolved.

It became evident that the only way to stop the war machine was to bankrupt it's empire.  After all, no empire has ever lasted.  Where are the mighty Romans?!?

This is, after all, an empire that prides itself on the strength of it's mighty Dollar.  The mighty Dollar has kept the empire strong and fed the war machine.  The mighty Dollar has crushed foreign governments and, at the same time, crushed the spirit of the American people.  Americans that somehow fail to realize that they pay an outrageous portion of their hard earned incomes in taxes to never receive anything in return but the realization that they are one paycheck away from becoming homeless; and the war machine won't care--it will feed from another.

So the mighty Dollar and the institutions entrusted with  keeping it safe for the war machine had to crumble.  And so they have!  One by one, the war machine's banks have failed.  December 2007 was the turning point from which there was no return.

Now, the war machine is racing to beat what can only be described as a financial time bomb.  Those at the controls have no idea how to stop the collapse of the war machine's financial food supply.  They keep feeding the war machine but it is, at best, anemic and the food supply is running out.  This time, there are no resources to poach from foreign countries and sell to the needy for profits; because those who would purchase are being begged for handouts to save the war machine.

While the average American is hoping that things get better, they are powerless against the global consciousness that has realized what needs to be done for humanity to advance.  It is indeed a global awareness of what has to be done; because conflicts and social disparity will end.

And this is something that President Obama cannot stop.    He was elected by my generation assuming that he could change the war machine; but he will fail.  He will fail because he is one bright light in a catastrophic ocean of darkness.  After all, Washington has no intention of changing and absolutely no desire to change because change means that many of the 'good-ole' boys' will lose what they hold dear: power!

For the world to advance, for humanity to prosper; the global community must dismiss the United States.  Enough is Enough!

The Root of All Evil? The God Delussion.
Did you know that CO2 is a greenhouse gas primarily blamed for causing global warming?  I am sure you knew that.  So far you've been told that combustion from cars, jets, and power generating plants cause CO2 to be released into the atmosphere.  I am sure you knew that as well!  But did you know that carbonated soda drinks like Coke and Pepsi also release billions of pounds of CO2 into the atmosphere EACH DAY?  What do you think carbonates the freaking drink?  Every time you see those little bubbles coming up in your soda, you are contributing to the destruction of our planet.

Miami, Florida - "Magic City"....yeah right!

City government must be referring to all the Voodo and Santeria that goes on in this, the Southern Most Swamp.  Take it or leave it, Miami Dade County is a 3rd world city.  I'd rather leave it.

A computer analyst claims to have discovered new images in Leonardo Da Vinci's The Last Supper, one of the world's best-loved religious paintings.  But some experts were sceptical, dismissing the claim as another spin-off of Dan Brown's best-selling novel The Da Vinci Code.

A co-worker recently mentioned that she had picked up a copy of The Secret.  I opted for the DVD documentary.  Fantastic!  I piggy backed a copy of William Walker Atkinson's Though Vibration.  Great book and an even better DVD!!!

While searching for Carli Fiorina's Tough Choices, I came across  Julie Jansen's I Don't Know What I Want But I know It's Not This.  I am glad that I found Jansen's book and I am loving every page.

Jansen's book is a wonderful step by step guide for self evaluation and also a great way to evaluate your current employer and how they fit you.  Her book helped me realize and in many ways also empowered me to do what I really enjoy doing.  Enough with the lame career paths that barely challenge!

I am still amazed by how much I've learned/discovered from Julie Jansen's book.  I thought the book would turn into a filler in my bookshelves or a used book re-sell through my Amazon merchant account.  Instead, I turn to it every time I need a little kick in the pants and a few ounces of knowledge and inspiring direction.

It's a must for anyone who feels that they're not getting enough out of their current work situation.

What are the chances that you and I will one day dream about the same thing?  I am not talking about dreaming about a new car, a new house, or that dream luxury vacation we all want.  I am talking about that which happens in your head once you drift off into sleep; the barely understood and highly hypothesized world of dreams.
