I am incredibly fond of life for it, in itself, is one of the greatest journeys that any of us will ever take.
I have been fortunate to have embarked on a journey that has made me greater than what I once was. Unfortunately, I have always been sent there on economy class!
Nonetheless, I have always tried to have as much fun as possible and learn as much as I can. I always strive to know and understand the people who's countries I visit.
I have made traveling my one and only hobby. I have discovered, within the experience of traveling, a passion that has set my soul on fire.
I feel ALIVE, with my itinerary and passport on one hand and my luggage in the other...destination known, experience unknown.
When I first started traveling to foreign destinations, people used to ask me why I traveled. The people that I knew didn't understand why anyone would travel outside of the USA just for fun. For them, my trips were taken for honeymoons or anniversaries; but never for plain and simple fun.
Unfortunately the days of Gertrude Bell are history. Gone are the days when traveling was a real adventure. When someone, with the appropriate means, could take off on an expedition of discovery.
Return with fond memories and experiences that would one day turn into "The Arabian Diaries, 1913-1914".

I really hope that the travel bug bites you as bad as it has bitten me. Everyone should travel and, with a little bit of planning, ANYONE can!
